World Malaria Day 2026
On the occasion of World Malaria Day 2026, Department of PG studies in Swasthavritta of our Institution organized guest lecture on the Topic “Awareness on Malaria Prevention and Control” on 25th April 2026.
Mrs. Rathna Kumari, District Entomologist, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Mysuru District was the invited Guest Speaker.
Madam delivered an informative talk on Malaria awareness, highlighting its causes, transmission, and symptoms. Emphasis was placed on effective prevention and control measures, including vector control, early diagnosis, and community participation.
All the faculties, PG scholars and II BAMS students were present in the programme. A total of 100 staff and students were benefited by this lecture.
