Kalidasa Jayanti Celebration

On the occasion of Kalidasa Jayanti, Department of Samhita Siddhanta & Sanskrit in association with Sanskrit Club of our Institution had organised Kalidasa Day Celebration and Speech Competition on 30-07-2026 for I Prof. BAMS students. Mr. Shreedhara N N, Asst. Prof. in Sanskrit, Maharaja Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences and Hospital, Mandya was the invited Chief Guest.
Kalidasa Day was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Shreedhara N N and was presided by Dr. Sarbeswar Kar, Principal. Dignitaries lighted the lamp along with Dr. Pankaj Pathak, HOD, Dr. Santosh Utlaskar, Prof, Dr. Syamily P and Dr. Kavya K who inspired students.
A Speech competition was organised on the topic – Kalidasa and his works. Winners of the competition are – Miss Anuradha, Miss Muskan, Miss Sinchana, Miss Poonam and Miss Sufiya.
30 students participated with enthusiasm and were encouraged to speak in Sanskrit. More than 100 students and Dept staff got benefitted by the program.
