INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRTION - 2026

JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru celebrated 80th Independence Day on Friday, 15th August 2026 in the serene premises of the Institution with great enthusiasm.
Dr Shashibindu, Assistant Professor, NSS Programme Officer rendered warm welcome to the dignitaries and gathering.
On the occasion, Chief guest Capt. M M Poonacha, (Retd), Indian Army, Dr Shivaprasad Huded, Vice Principal, JSSAMC, Dr Shashibindu, NSS Officer, JSSAMC hoisted the National flag followed by National Anthem.
Patriotic song was sung by Ms. Spoorthi & team, followed by Patriotic group dance by Ms. Shuktija and team, NSS Volunteers of the Institution. Ms. Sinduja, II BAMS, NSS Volunteer, shared her views on the occasion of Independence Day.
Chief guest, Capt. M M Poonacha, (Retd), Indian Army, in his Speech, conveyed Independence Day wishes to the gathering and recalled the Sacrifices of soldiers, freedom fighters and elaborated how we can build our nation as developed country by 2047.
In his Presidential address, Dr Shivaprasad Huded, Vice Principal, spoke about responsibilities of each citizen of our country towards progress of the Nation.
Mr. Shravan Ashok, II BAMS, NSS Volunteer, rendered the Vote of thanks. Whole program was gracefully mastered by Ms. Kumari Preethi and Ms. Sakshi Patil, III BAMS, NSS Volunteers of our Institution.
